Word Tag Splash Screen Art Direction

While working on Word Tag, I had the pleasure of art directing the splash screen. My goal was to establish it as a premium product, hinting at an expansive world and a diverse cast of characters.

The primary challenge was ensuring the composition worked seamlessly for both horizontal and vertical orientations across various phone and tablet aspect ratios.
I was responsible for the art direction, the 3D layout (pre-paintover), and some compositing. Torben Søttrup handled the character posing, and Ana Tovkun did an amazing job on the concept and final paintover.
